Requirements
KCSE mean grade C+ (plus) or its equivalent. C+ (plus) in the MAJOR subjects for combinations; Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Geography or B- in Physical Sciences and C+ in Mathematics and Kiswahili/English. Those who want to major in Mathematics must have passed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with the minimum grades as indicated for the following subjects: Physics B- (minus) or Physical Science B (plain) and Mathematics B- (minus). For those majoring in Botany/Zoology and Geography, the minimum requirement for Mathematics is C (Plain). Those intending to major in Geography need to have acquired at least grade C+ (plus) in Geography; a C+ (Plus) in one of the following subjects: Business Studies, Biology, Agriculture or B- (minus) in Physical Science; and a C plain (C) in Mathematics. For those intending to major in Chemistry and Biochemistry, they should possess at least C+ (plus) in Chemistry and in any two of the following three subjects: Mathematics, Biology and Geography Those intending to major in Physics, they should possess at least a C+ (plus) in Physics and in any two of the following three subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry and Geography.
