Requirements
For students pursuing bachelor degree studies in public or chartered private universities within the East African Community, including KUCCPS-placed, self-sponsored, parallel and Module II students. HELB says pre-university, certificate, diploma and postgraduate students are not eligible for this undergraduate loan. Required application details include contact information, KCPE/KCSE index details, photo, National ID or Maisha Card, bank or M-Pesa details, parent details, guarantor details, and supporting documents where applicable.

Loan support for bachelor degree students; HELB states the loan attracts 4% interest and a KSh 1,000 ledger fee per year.
